What Does This Warranty Cover?

Bicycle Tools Incorporated dba Park Tool Co. (“Park Tool”) warrants that your new Park Tool product purchased directly from Park Tool, or an authorized reseller or distributor, will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship for the Limited Warranty Period below.

What Does this Warranty Not Cover?

This warranty does not cover the following: (1) defects in materials and workmanship resulting from improper installation, misuse, operation, or maintenance, physical abuse, power failures or surges, lightning, fire, flood, or accident; (2) defects in materials and workmanship resulting from use of your new Park Tool product with products or facilities supplied by others; (3) normal wear and tear; or (4) pre-owned, refurbished, demo or sample, or “as is” products, or products not purchased directly from Park Tool or an authorized reseller or distributor.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES WHICH YOU MAY HAVE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW ARE LIMITED IN ‎DURATION TO THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied ‎warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.‎ EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY ‎APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PARK TOOL BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, ‎INDIRECT, ‎INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING ‎FROM THE SALE OF THE ‎PRODUCT. THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF ‎PARK TOOL IN ANY AND ALL CATEGORIES, INCLUDING ‎BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ‎MISTAKE, NEGLIGENCE, ACT, OMISSION, AND BREACH, ‎SHALL NOT EXCEED ‎IN THE AGGREGATE THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY YOU ‎FOR SUCH ‎PRODUCT. This disclaimer and exclusion shall apply even if any warranty fails ‎of its essential purpose. Some states do not allow for the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the ‎above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.‎

How Long Does the Coverage Last?

This warranty is for the lifetime of the original purchaser, except cleaning brushes, pumps, stools, torque wrenches, electronic tools, motors and power supplies which are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase (the “Limited Warranty Period”), ‎but in either case terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer your product. This warranty is non-transferable, and any ‎sale, transfer, or disposal of the product will void this warranty, and this warranty extends only to the ‎original purchaser. The “original purchaser” is an individual who purchases the product directly from ‎Park Tool or an authorized reseller or distributor and not with the intent to resell. Any repair or replacement will ‎not extend the original period of limited warranty, nor will it constitute the beginning of a new limited ‎warranty period.

How do you get Service?

To obtain service under this warranty, you must promptly notify Park Tool by completing the form below to obtain further instructions prior to returning or exchanging the warranted product. You may be asked to undertake certain steps by Park Tool to troubleshoot or determine whether ‎this warranty applies‎. Any warranted product returned or exchanged must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt as proof of purchase‎.

What Will Park Tool do?

For any warranted product that is returned to Park Tool in accordance with this warranty, Park Tool will repair or replace the warranted product, or any part thereof, in its sole discretion. You will be responsible for return shipping to Park Tool of any product. You will not be charged for shipping from Park Tool within the contiguous 48 United States for a repaired or replaced product; provided, shipping costs outside the contiguous 48 states for any repaired or replaced product will be your responsibility. However, if the product is found to not be defective or otherwise not covered by this warranty, in Park Tool’s sole discretion, the product can, at your option, be returned to you at your shipping cost or ‎disposed of by Park Tool without compensation to you, provided if you do not respond within ‎thirty (30) days to any request by Park Tool regarding your instructions as to the disposition of the ‎product, Park Tool may dispose of the product without compensation to you. Park Tool will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred during shipping of the product.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have ‎other rights which vary from state to state.‎
